project 19126
Our Brief: Woodlands renovation – in need of some love
EKL Design transform ideas to paper : As usual, we liaised with these clients from beginning to end : we kept the dialogue going to ensure the spaces we were developing were exactly what they are looking for and how our combined ideas transformed the way they live in the bungalow.

project 19116
Our Brief: One bed Bungalow conversion
This project involved the complete renovation of our clients bungalow: opening up the lounge and adding another bedroom & en-suite (without “going-up”) all on an irregular shaped plot which provided us with some fun challenges.

project 19107
Our Brief: Extend the kitchen; add home office and extra bedroom
The owners approached EKL Design with a simplistic plan, but we turned their ground floor plan right around and provided a new kitchen overlooking the garden (rather than the garage!), and improved the ground floor ergonomics.

project 19106
Our Brief: New Garden Room to take advantage of the location
This delightfully situated property needed some attention attention and modification to make the most of its surroundings, whilst being sympathetic to the original building and the surrounding neighbours.

project 19104
Our Brief: To transform a Bungalow to a 4 bed Home
Our clients had purchased a rather dated property and asked us for ideas to modernise it and refresh the feel – at the same time adding another bedroom with only a modest increase to the footprint.

project 18105
Our Brief: We need a family room !
In discussions with the client; it turns out the existing single storey extension is single skin, draughty and occasionally leaks ! Time for a change !

project 18104
Our Brief: “Granny” Annex and House extension
Our brief for this project was to replace the old “too hot or too cold” conservatory with a new fully functional building while simultaneously allowing it to be a family hub melding into a new self-contained Granny Annex

project 18103
Our Brief: New Office space required
A slightly different project; the clients came to us with ample space and some great ideas already formulised. We drew up the technical drawings, cleared the building regs and planning permissions; and the clients built it !

project 18102
Our Brief: House update and add Extension
We were asked to update and open up the house and bring in more light. To create a new family room as the hub for their home, and to include another bedroom upstairs. We also managed to fit in an additional bathroom !

project 18101
Our Brief: To create a fourth bedroom and a larger kitchen/family room
A busy existing house; this required some thinking . . . but with the possibility of extending to the rear it became clear that we needed to re-organise the internal spaces.
